И сваке године, пред Божић, Гринча све више и више нервира све већа и светлија и гласнија празнична атмосфера. Када град објави да је у плану украшавање три пута веће јелке него до тада, Гринч схвата да је једино шта му преостаје како би себи обезбедио мало мира и тишине, да украде Божић.
